Guernsey Chest and Heart LBG is a charitable body, primarily concerned with the provision of a free health screening service to the residents of the Bailiwick of Guernsey. The objectives of the charity are "the prevention and treatment of and research into respiratory and circulatory diseases".
Since the opening of the medical centre in November 1974, preventative work has been the main area of activity, principally through the health screening programme. Screenings and blood pressure checks are carried out by fully qualified and experienced nurses.
To book a free screening appointment please telephone us on 237261. The Chest and Heart Medical Centre is open weekdays between 8.30 and 12.00 and is located within the grounds of the Princess Elizabeth Hospital (although entirely independent). There is an answer-phone service outside these hours or alternatively email us at info@chestandheart.org.gg.
