Who are we?
Guernsey Chest & Heart LBG is a Company 'Limited by Guarantee' which was formed from the Guernsey Chest & Heart Association at the end of 2005. Guernsey Chest & Heart LBG is a charitable body, primarily concerned with the provision of a free health screening service to the residents of the Bailiwick of Guernsey.

To date, more than 52,000 screenings have been carried out involving over 21,000 residents. People screened are aged between 25 and 70.
What do we do?
The objectives of the Company are "the prevention and treatment of and research into respiratory and circulatory diseases".
Since the opening of the medical centre in November 1974, preventative work has been the main area of activity, primarily through the health screening programme.

Screenings and blood pressure checks are carried out by fully qualified and experienced nurses.
